Radis Kurniawan's entire family has worked for generations at NTF, with his parents acting as experts in clearing land for banana and pineapple planting, while his older brother (deceased) is also known as an expert in pineapple cultivation. Radis himself has solid work experience at NTF for 8 years, the first 4 years with a primary role in the management of banana and pineapple plantations. As a plantation expert, he is responsible for ensuring that all plantation operations run according to the company's SOP. He was promoted again to the Quality Control (QC) section for 2 years, which gave him in-depth insight into product quality control, and his last position in the Human Resources Development (HRD) section which honed his skills in human resource management, training, and team development.

WHAT IS YOUR DEDUCTIBLEÂ POLICY?
In order to clarify the deductible policy for damaged fruits, please follow these steps:
1. Within 3 days of receiving your fruit shipment, you can file a complaint regarding the quality of the fruits.
2. To initiate the process, take clear and well-lit pictures of the damaged fruits from different angles, ensuring that the issues are visible.
3. Send these pictures along with a detailed description of the damages to the concerned authorities or the customer support team, as per the instructions provided by the shipper.
4. The shipper will review your complaint and assess the extent of the damages. If they find the issues valid, they will deduct the corresponding amount from your next fruit shipment.

WHAT ARE THE STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDUREÂ (SOP) TO PROCESS FRUITS?
Processing fruit according to standard operating procedures typically involves several key steps to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
1. Receiving and Inspection:
- Upon receipt of fruit, inspect for quality, freshness, and any signs of damage or contamination.
- Sort fruit based on size, color, and quality standards.
2. Washing:
- Wash fruit thoroughly using clean water to remove dirt, debris, and surface contaminants.
- Use appropriate sanitizers if necessary to reduce microbial load.
3. Drying:
- Dry fruit using methods that prevent contamination and maintain product integrity.

WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS FOR EXPORT?
1. Phytosanitary Certificate:
- A Phytosanitary Certificate issued by the relevant authorities certifying that the fruit meet the phytosanitary requirements of both the exporting and importing countries.
2. Country of Origin Certificate:
- A Certificate of Origin issued by the exporting country, PT Wonderful Indonesia Corp, confirming the origin of the fruits.
3. Bill of Lading:
- A Bill of Lading issued by the shipping company or carrier, detailing the shipment of pineapples from the port of origin to the port of destination.
4. Commercial Invoice:
- A Commercial Invoice issued by PT Wonderful Indonesia Corp, detailing the description, quantity, price, and terms.
5. Packing List:
- A Packing List specifying the contents of each carton, including the number of cartons, net weight, gross weight, and any other relevant packaging details.

What should I do when I take delivery of my shipments?
1) Check whether the container is externally sound and undamaged;
2) Check that the original Line seals and others, if any, are intact;
3) For reefer containers, check the temperature, humidity and ventilation settings. Please take pictures of the temperature monitor.
In case cargo loss or damage is discovered – What should I do?
1) Notify your insurance company.
2) Notify, in writing, the local liner office where cargo loss or damage is discovered as soon as possible.
Please provide:
1) Liner transportation document number; and container number.
2) Nature of loss/damage of cargo (e.g. wet damage, breakage / physical damage, temperature abuse, or quality problem; etc.)
3) Photos of container / cargo.
4) Estimated value of loss/damage (if cannot ascertain, please specify number of affected goods & its corresponding Commercial Invoice Value).
5) If necessary, arrange for a joint survey with your own surveyor and liner surveyor’s attendance – preferably while the cargo is still untouched in the container.
6) Minimize the loss by salvaging the remainder of your goods and take other relevant precautions to protect your cargo and its value for the purpose of loss mitigation.
7) Determine whether you have a claim and whether to file a claim.
What documents are needed to file a claim?
​Well-documented claim will facilitate the claims handling process and speed up the investigation. Please refer to the general documents needed below to submit a claim:
- Copy of original bill of lading or seaway bill (both front and back side);
- Letter of Authority to act, from party with rights to the claim, if the claim is not being filed by cargo interests; or the subrogated underwriter's Subrogation Receipt, if claim is filed by cargo underwriters or their agents;
- Copy of original commercial invoice;
- Packing list;
- Proof of loss or damage, for example, lab tests, testing reports, etc., and/or survey report with digital photos certifying the nature and extent of alleged loss or damage;
- Breakdown of claim amount;
- Evidence proving pre-shipment cargo condition;
- Stuffing report indicating cargo condition before the container door was closed at origin;
- Trucker’s delivery receipt / devanning tally (warehouse receipt) with seal no. and exceptions;
- Export / Import customs declaration;
- Salvage invoice, if cargo was salvaged;
- Destruction certificate or statement describing disposition of the cargo, in case of unsalvageable cargo;
- Veterinary certificate, if applicable;
- Other substantiating documents, if applicable.
